    In her book A Twaddle-Free Education, Deborah Taylor-Hough discusses the ideas of educational philosopher Charlotte Mason. Taylor-Hough lists Mason’s ideas about reading in a nutshell, including these three: Avoid twaddle (dumbed-down literature).
